Lightning Coach Call Out

The AA Development Lightning Program is looking for Instructors/Coaches for U12, U14 and U16.

Applicants should have:

  • superior ringette and skating skills
  • sports knowledge
  • strong communication skills

The applicant must be willing to run a 22 week program and attend fixed ice times.

Tryouts Notes & Reminders

Here are some notes about tryouts:

  • You will need to check in with the registration desk on the first day so please leave adequate time to do so.
  • U16 athletes will be given a pinnie prior to the first ice time and will keep this pinnie with them for the first 3 tryouts.
  • U19 athletes are asked to bring both a dark and light coloured jersey, preferably with a number on them.
  • Returning AA athletes are reminded that they are not permitted to wear any jerseys or ringette pants that identify their previous membership in the AA program or as team BC.  If players only have one pair of ringette pants, they are expected to cover the AA logo on the back with dark tape.
  • Parents are welcome to watch the tryouts but are asked to keep their distance from the evaluators who will be evaluating.

AA Tryouts Information

This year AA tryouts for all age divisions will run in the spring (May 1 – May 13th, 2018after the conclusion of this current ringette season. The intention is to select the teams at the end of these spring tryouts. This change will allow teams to do team building and preparation activities over the summer as well as to register for out of province tournaments that fill up early.

To register your daughter for AA tryouts for the 2018-2019 ringette season, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Complete the online form – Now CLOSED. Contact Dani Brassington for questions about registration.
Step 2: Pay the tryout registration fee

  • E-transfer fee to: Payments@lowermainlandringette.ca
  • Use “ LMRLAA ” as password
  • Please note: All payments must be made prior to tryouts. We will not be
    collecting any payments on the day of tryouts.
